If you already have a Non-Geographic number (0800, 0845, 0870 or 0871) from BT, Telewest, NTL, Cable & Wireless or Energis we can arrange for it to be ported to us. It is easy to organise and free of charge so you will not need to change company stationary etc.

How to port your number

Porting is very straightforward. We simply require your authorisation to move the number from your existing carrier. This can be done by doing the following:

Procedure

-	Download the authorisation letter onto your company headed paper (click here to download now)

-	Input the number(s) that you want to port onto the letter (for 6 or more numbers, please download additional letters as required).

-	Sign and date the letter.

-	Download the Porting Form onto your company headed paper (click here to download now)

-	Complete the highlighted sections.

-	Sign and date the form.

-	Fax the documents to us on 0845 2418001 or e-mail them to us at sales@uknumbers.net

-	When returning the completed documents to us, please also include an invoice from your current supplier, dated within the last 3 months, for the number(s) that are to be ported.

Once we have received the porting authorisation we will arrange for your numbers to be moved over on a specific date and time. The transfers usually take place at midnight on either a Saturday or Sunday and will cause little or no disruption. There is a lead time of approx 15 days to complete the transfer.
